Palestine in the year 1109 Year of Our Lord. After the Pope Urban II made the holy statement "Deus lo vult" ("God wills it") in 1095 AD, the first holy Crusade began towards the Western World. Thousands of noblemen, adventurers, criminals and simple peasants followed the holy word of the Pope.

After large exertions and many costly lost battles, the Christian Crusaders finally succeeded and conquered Jerusalem in 1099 AD. After the Holy Land was recaptured in the name of Christ, feuds and battles began over who would become the single ruling leader. Your task in this thrilling construction-strategy game is to erect your own settlement and build up a powerful army of your own in order to win the fight for power over the Holy Land!
